London Baby!

London Baby!

travel

Coming back from the UK is always slightly dampening, and I’m not talking about the humidity in KL at the moment (although on second thought, maybe I should!). Liz and I have a love affair with London town and it’s not because of the insane carnival that is Oxford Circus, the grunge fashion that surrounds Camden or the crisp clean air among the hundreds of parks. It’s the never-ending supply of cuisine, and the best versions of those cuisines at that! Londoners are obnoxiously good at being foodies and these restaurants keep them on their toes. So here you have it. My comprehensive list of the absolute best eats in none other than… London baby!

London like a local
Burger & Lobster, as my photo suggests it’s literally burger & lobster and the absolute best versions at that
Polpo, the infamous meatball restaurant tucked away in Soho but straight from Venice
Granger & Co to mix with all the Australians in London
Borough Market for the freshest tastes from farm to table
The Providore London for a lathering of turkish eggs
Princi London for the freshest croissants
Coya London for hipsters tacos off the richter scale
10 Greek Street, strangely not Greek at all but bountiful shares to enrich your Saturday night
Death by Burrito, I feel the name speaks for itself
The Wolseley for something a little fancy baby
Barrafina for tastes from the tapas tables in Spain
The Anchor & Hope, slow cooked lamb + red wine = the perfect Sunday
Pitt Cue where no vegetarian should enter. This is all things slow, burnt, smoked, charred and pulled.
